Meet The Real Mrs. S. Garcia - 5th grade
Hi there, I am Sandi Garcia. I have been teaching for 29 years and currently starting my 30th year. I guess I really enjoy teaching! I taught 3rd grade at Noonan Elementary for 22 years and 8th grade Math/Algebra at WAMS for 6 years. This is my fourth year at St. Elizabeth. Teaching is my passion, I love working with kids, and I feel it keeps me young at heart.
I am married and have two children. Serena, my daughter, is 25, and Frankie, my son, who is 34. Oh! I am also a Zumba instructor, I love music, dancing, and yoga!
I know this is going to be a great year!
Education:
- I do have a Bachelors in Business Administration from Texas A&I University (Yes, I said A&I not A&M)
- I did get my Teacher Certification from CCSU and got a Bilingual Education Certification from Texas A&M Kingsville.
