Message from the Principal

Marissa Canales, Principal

Welcome to St. Elizabeth School! I am honored and blessed to serve as Principal of this incredible school community. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, a Master's Degree in Educational Administration, and a Catholic School Teacher Religion Certification. As a proud graduate of St. Joseph Catholic School in Alice, serving in Catholic education is truly a blessing and a calling.

My husband and I have been married for 27 years and are blessed with three wonderful children, including our youngest daughter, who is a student at St. Elizabeth School.

I truly love being the principal of St. Elizabeth School. It is a privilege to serve our students, families, and dedicated staff each day. I am deeply committed to helping every student reach their highest academic potential while growing in faith, character, and confidence. My goal is to ensure that every child feels loved, supported, challenged, and inspired to become the person God has called them to be. I pray that God continues to guide me on this journey because I find great joy and purpose in serving our students and  families. Together, we will continue to strengthen our academic excellence, deepen our Catholic faith, and nurture respectful, compassionate leaders who are prepared to succeed wherever God leads them.
