Meet Mrs. M. Canales
My name is Marissa Canales and I am the 2nd grade teacher here at SES. I am a 2008 graduate of Texas A&M University in Kingsville, where I received my Bachelor of Science degree. My specialization is Early Childhood through 4th grade. I also have earned my Catholic School Teacher Religion Certification. I have previously taught grades Pre-K through 2nd grade at public schools with Alice ISD and Ben Bolt Palito Blanco ISD.
I am so excited to be teaching at a Catholic school as I am I product of St. Joseph Catholic School in Alice. I attended SJS from Kindergarten through 6th grade.
My family is my life. I have been married for 25 years and have 3 children. Our youngest daughter is now attending SES and I am thrilled to be starting this new journey with my baby girl.
